My client wanted a stylish, color-forward place of repose where she could entertain guests for formal dinner parties and in parallel, have more casual get-togethers as well. We used a palette of ochres, rusts, olives and neutrals with MidCentury forms and pops of brass and black to create a sleek, refined look, tying things together with natural materials like marble, stone, and framed textiles for a layered, dextrous feel that exudes warmth and coziness.
